Taurus Vascular is a Houston-based medical device company focused on improving long-term outcomes for patients with aortic aneurysms.
Our founding team came together under the Texas Medical Center Innovation Biodesign program in late 2022 with a shared vision to reimagine how serious illnesses like aortic aneurysms are treated and help patients live longer healthier lives.
Our technology aims to improve procedure outcomes and allow patients to live longer, healthier lives after abdominal aortic aneurysm repair.
Founder & CEO
Matthew Kuhn is the Founder & CEO of Taurus Vascular, a Houston-based medical device company focused on improving long-term outcomes for patients with aortic aneurysms. Taurus Vascular is developing a safe, effective, and easy-to-use medical device to reduce the risk and impact of endoleaks after endovascular aortic aneurysm repair (EVAR).
Matthew graduated from the University of Delaware with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering and received a Master's in Bioengineering at Rice University. He is an inventor on more than 40 US and international pending patents, covering a diverse range of clinical specialties including surgical oncology, laparoscopic surgery, and cardiovascular electrophysiology.
